10 years together - wedding master post
17.07.12 is an important day in my life. M. and I have our 10th anniversary of being a couple. It's over two months since we are married. And I am still madly in love with him. He's my best friend and without him I wouldn't be were I am now.
I'd like to go back in time and tell you more about my wedding look and a little bit about the wedding itself. I want to show you what I've learned while organizing this huge party and what were our ideas to make this event unforgettable and unique.

17.07.12 to ważny dzień w moim życiu. Wczoraj M. i ja świętowaliśmy 10-tą rocznicę bycia razem.
The concept
We love California weddings. We followed greenweddingshoes.com and saved best ideas. We are not religious, so we decided to get married in a registry-office and invite only family. Although we dreamed of an outside ceremony, which here in Poland is almost impossible to arrange and then goes the weather which is always unpredictable... We picked the 'Wedding Palace', classic place to get married in Warsaw. Still... we didn't want to abandon the idea of a personal, beautifully arranged ceremony. So the concept of two weddings was born. On Friday was the official, civil ceremony where we singed the papers. And Saturday... oh boy, that was a dream come true. We asked our friend to wed us and threw a party. We set a magical place in an old loft building called Centrum Cybernetyki. We bought fake grass carpet, we hired a talented florist, we did loads of little decorations like paper butterflies, menu cards, 'thank you' notes... We turned this white space into a colorful venue.
We also wanted to get a couple tattoo, our tats on wrists and the graver inside our rings says 'just say yes'. It comes from a Snow Patrol song.
The ceremony was short, but emotional. Our models were my bridesmaids. We wrote our own vows, people were crying... I thought I will cry too, but I was in shock and kinda unconscious at first. Fortunately, when the party started and we did our first dance - the classic Pulp Fiction scene - I forgot about the nerves and just had the best time of my life. Then we danced synchronously with all guests 'A lonely boy' by The Black Keys, which was my very own, personal flash mob ♥

The dress
As you may imagine picking a dress for this big day was hard for me. My style is so indescribable, I love being romantic and chic, but I also love black, leather jackets and studs... I entrusted this job to Agata Wojtkiewicz, who you should remember from my previous posts. We started from trying on some of her ready designs and came up with this idea:
We chose a wonderful grunge lace, feathers and decided on minimum accessories. I wanted badly a wing or feather headband, but finally found a JENNIFER BEHR nice, edgy headpiece. I also chose my two cheap, but beloved rings from ALDO and RIVER ISLAND. Shoes were the hardest to choose. I already head a very strong look and colorful heels would be too much. I found great ones in ZARA - nude with golden detail. We added orange lipstick and nail polish to get a rock&roll look.
You've seen the results, so here's the 'making of':
The wedding
Here is the most wonderful, unforgettable day in my life in a shortcut.
