Vogue Girl Korea and me in it ^_^

I am so excited! The issue of Korean Vogue Girl has just came by post! I couldn't tell you before, but I have taken some pictures specially for this magazine and its 'my vintage romance' topic. If you want more here are the original photos:

Studs, leather and black. My love to rock and punk culture will never die. Here is the belt, hand bag and purse. You can also see an old camera. These days I rather photograph with this one than with the professional equipment :) Love this time eaten, dusty, raw look of traditional photography.

Pink flats with studs. I wear flats only for work (weddings), these are really comfortable and so cute! I love everything with studs! :)

Beloved russet coffer bag bought on Ebay. I need a new one, because this one is really old and worn out :(

This is my lovely lace empire shirt that I got from a friend. Perfect for hot days. Classy yet sexy because of the transparency. One color outfits are fashionable lately, this season especially the white ones :)

Here you can see my fabulous red spring coat. It hasn't got a button or anything, but I usually wear it with a belt. It's kinda 50's. Bought on Ebay :) Underneath there's also my newcomer - camel sheer blouse. It is a XXL piece that was a long nighty. It belonged to my friend (bought in secondstore) from design school and was supposed to be cut to pieces but I have saved it from death :) This is my faveourite color mix for this season - camel + red! <3

Interview:

1 Tell us your brief profile. (age, education, location, liking, etc)

My name is Natalie aka Charlotte Rouge. I'm 21 and live in Poland. I graduated photography at Warsaw Film School and studied for half and a year at International School of Costume and Fashion Design but I dropped out and started designing clothes. I love to photograph, style and design, can't live without music and art. I am also engaged and organizing a wedding party in a year :)

2 What is your signature style?

Romantic, rock&roll and chic.

3 When and how did you come about establishing your own style and look?

It was a year and a half ago when I started running my blog. It was supposed to be a therapy to finally find time to work on my style. And it helped :)

4 How many antique/vintage items do you have?

Do you really want me to count? :) Ok... give me a sec... At least 20 items.

5 Where do most of your antique/vintage items come from?

Most of them come from the times of high school when I had more time to visit secondhand stores. I also bought some on Polish Ebay. I used to have my own on-line store with vintage pieces. Now I've got only my favourite ones left.

6 Why do you like antique/vintage items?

They are unique and have their secret history. I love romantic vintage things, because almost nobody makes them these days, at least not in Poland...

7 Do you have any antique/vintage treasured items in your closet...can you tell us what they are and any stories about them?

Well, actually I have this authentic 50's skirt that brought me luck. When I was like... 14 or 15 I fell in love in 50's style, but couldn't find anything like this in any secondhand store. One friend of my mother's heard about it and gave me this wonderful, checked, high waisted skirt that was sewed in 1950's. I was already a photographer these days and took a photo of myself in this skirt. Soon it won the first prize in an national Canon photo contest for professionals (!). That was a great turn in my life. I think that it made me what I am today :)

8 What was your most recent antique/vintage items purchase?

I bought many items for my new apartment, some I got from friends - you can see them at the pictures - pillows, silver pots, jewelery hanger and many more :)

9 Can you give any tips on how to buy, wear and keep the antique/vintage items?

When it comes to buying there are no rules. You can find vintage treasures everywhere! At your grandma's attic, antiques market, Ebay :) It's very hard to keep them for long. Look at my pink flats, they are really worn out :( You could say the same thing about the russet coffer bag. All we can do is to wear them only for really important and big occasions.

10 What is your key fashion item when you wear the antique/vintage?

It's definitely my black leather handbag. It matches everything!

11 What is your favorite way of styling antique/vintage items? And why?

I like mixing them with new, fresh, trendy clothes. This way I get a look that no one can copy.

12 If you have to suggest antique/vintage items for this summer, what would you choose? And why? (design, color, detail…)

Neon colored pieces like my red coat and lovely little handbags with any color. Also sheer and lace clothes are great for this season. Anything is trendy - you create trends, people! :)

Hope you like it! <3

PS. The other Polish blogger, Madame Julietta (aka MafFashion) is also featured! :) Congrats!

Work, work, work...

I am so so sorry, that I haven't written earlier. I've got so much work and many problems to solve. Although I haven't been writing it doesn't mean, that I haven't been shopping :) There was sales time, and new collections arrived so now it's time to show my treasures and new looks! But first - I wanted to show you my next publication. It's in Shopper Magazine, based in Beijing, China. They are a printing mag (monthly issued), focusing on high-street brands, young fashion style, fashion business and pop culture of China and abroad.  Please contact outsideralice@gmail.com if you're interested in their magazine.

In English - it's the original interview:
1. Name, age, location and occupation.

My name is Natalie, I’m 20 and I’m a photographer.

2. How do you describe your own style? And how fashion express your
personality out of the way it keeps inside your heart?

My style is indescribable. I am inspired by everything around me:
people, movies I watch, music I listen to... For example: if I listen
to ‘The Like’ I wear romantic flower dresses, and if I listen to ‘The
Kills’ or ‘The Black Keys’, I wear jeans, t-shirts and converses.

3. You said that you started to care about fashion since childhood and
your family business were related to the fashion industry, so how did
these experiences influenced you for years, and what inspired you
mostly on making clothes by yourself? Does the childhood influence
from fashion to you last till today?

My experience with fashion in childhood made me fashion conscious and
my fashion taste became more sophisticated. I always believed that I
will be a trendsetter and will design clothes that a lot of
people will love to wear. Being so close to fashion for that long made
me more self confident in that industry.

4. What was your goal of fashion? And how did you make it come true?
What's your biggest obstacle at this moment or in such process?

I dream of having my own store and selling clothes for chic women. I
can’t draw well, I hope that my new school will help me with that.

5. You said you could not stick with only one style, but on the other
hand you are very much in love with the sort of rock, 80's, vintage,
rustic, a little sporty but also romantic and chic style, would you
agree that there's a certain connection between your style and your
personality? What impression do you want to give people, is it that
you're very changeable and constantly different?

Yes, your exactly right about that! I am very unstable, changing all
the time my interests. That’s why I used to have a nickname ‘oxymora’.

6. And what fashion really brings you to your life? what do you hope
to give people with what you do?

Fashion makes my life complete. Without it I definitely wouldn’t be
who I am now. I want to inspire people with what I wear, what I adore,
what inspired me.

7. Please list 10 essential things in your daily life. (Any clothes,
habits or important things you couldn’t live without)

1. My beloved fiancée <3
2. Tic tac’s and lip balm
3. Black in clothes or accessory
4. Check my private and business email
5. Facebook and Lookbook
6. Do something creative and earn money
7. Listen to good music
8. Watch a movie
9. Have a good sleep
10. Look well

8. Who is your fashion icon and what type of people are most appealing to you?

There are many people inspiring me. I love latest Kristen Stewart
looks. I am also observing Zooey Deschanel, Kate Moss and Alison
Mosshart.

9. List some your favorite magazines and interesting books you read recently.

Elle, K MAG, FineLife.pl. I don’t read a lot, but I am in love with
the Twilight series :)

10. Tell me about your other hobbies/interests apart from fashion, or
something else you're very good at, and do a lot.

I am a photographer. I run my own photography and CG agency. I also
own a modeling agency. All is combined with fashion :)

11. Where do you like to travel this year? What’s the most interesting
experience about fashion in Poland?

I am cosmopolitan and I don’t feel good in Poland. I think that polish
style (not only in fashion) is a combination of everything else, what
Poles have seen abroad. There’s nothing inspiring here for me.
I’ve been in Fuerteventura, Spain. It’s so beautiful. But my biggest
dream is to come to some small town in Toscany, Italy and go on a
roadtrip with my friends in the USA.

I really, really can't wait till Autumn! New collections are so inspiring! I am also starting design school in few weeks - a new life coming along! ^__^

My very first publication.

Here it is, in Cliché Magazine, my photos and something about me! Too bad, that I wrote in a hurry Zooey like Zoe or brands' names with capital letters and they didn't correct it :(

Remember my first note? I think my fashion therapy is finished! I can officially say that I am not wearing only jeans with blouses anymore! I start every day with a new cloth-set concept and it makes me really happy. I am able to define my style, my inspirations. Of course my wallet is getting lighter now, but I am also trying to refresh my old clothes and selling them too. I just hope I won't stop writing this blog...

I am in love with feathers lately. It's been rainy and cloudy for a couple of days and my looks are dark and mature. Today I've made a feather headband and mixed a Greek/goth look. Check it out and tell me what you think!

Inspired by feathers, I produced a photo shoot with WonderModels' new face - Kate. It's inspired by tribes, etno and natural spring 2010 trends. I have picked clothes and accesories and of course took photos. Finally we've titled the series 'Walkirie', which is more antique but accurate. It's been published in an online magazine FineLife.pl
